Derek Azcuy - Exercise Specialist

Derek is a versatile trainer who has worked with men and women of all different abilities, ages, and fitness levels.  His passion for fitness began at a young age, when he realized that his will to outwork the competition would overcome any size disadvantage.

Derek studied exercise science at Manhattan College and has been training since 2007, helping athletes as young as ten to adults well into their seventies improve their performance and achieve their goals.

Although his style of training is always morphing, what remains constant is his understanding that one method is never the answer.  Moving efficiently, being strong, and having the endurance to sustain physical activity, he believes, are keys to longevity.
